AASU TRAFFIC & PARKING REGULATIONS
ENFORCED YEAR ROUND

(Revised Spring, 2006)

  1. State and local traffic laws apply as traffic regulations on Armstrong Atlantic State University campus.

  2. Registration of Vehicles Operating on Campus

    • All vehicles driven on the Armstrong Atlantic State Campus must display the proper AASU decal.
    • Decals expire on August 31st and cost $50 for a full academic year, $25 for Spring and Summer, or $15 for Summer only. To obtain a decal, students must first submit a Parking Decal Application to the Business Office. After payment has been processed by the Business office, a parking decal may be picked up at the University Police Office by submitting a Vehicle Registration form.
    • Decals show an expiration date. The University will notify vehicle operators to pick up a new decal. Expired decals will result in the issuance of a parking citation.
    • Vehicle operators must obtain decals within five (5) days of the first day of classes of the first term they are enrolled at the University.
    • Anyone obtaining another vehicle during the course of the term must have this vehicle registered immediately or risk being ticketed for violation.
    • Student vehicle operators are authorized to use student decals for their vehicles. University employees are authorized to use faculty-staff decals for their vehicles.
